Premier Clinic: A Review

11/22/2015

Two weeks ago, before my brother's wedding reception, I had gone to Premier Clinic to remove my pigmentation which are usually invisible in photos but I was advised to do so by a number of doctors before as the amount of pigmentation was abnormal for a young girl like me. The pigmentation is due to the exposure to sun without protection. Secret revealed: I don't usually wear sunblock.

Premier clinic offers a wide range of aesthetic services and has 2 branches; one in Taman Tun Dr Ismail and another in Bangsar. I went to the one at TTDI and my first impression was that the staff and nurses there are welcoming and friendly, making the visit a pleasant one. I was treated br Dr Kee Yong Seng who complimented me on my clean fresh face.

I am unable to share the photos of the treatment as that would reveal my aurah, but I can tell you about it, so do not fret!

Parking was terrible as it was a working day in TTDI so basically all the spots were taken and there was a police putting summons on every car that didn't pay for parking. I found parking near the market after I called the staff that were very helpful. I just prefer not driving, actually. But no one was available to send me that day. Hehe.

They led me to a super comfortable waiting room where I had some drinks and biscuits while I waited for my consultation with Dr Kee. Overall, I actually never cared for waiting rooms but as far as waiting rooms go, it was delicious! Haha.

So, I met Dr Kee and he suggested that I do the Medlite C6 Laser Treatment for my pigmentation. I didn't really have any options of treatments as that is really the biggest problem I had. So I signed the papers. Please please READ any forms that you have to sign so you know what you're in for. This is free advice from a law student.

In the treatment room, I had to remove my hijab. They washed my face and then, put on numbing cream for a few minutes. Word of caution: Numbing cream does not remove sensation from the face. I could still feel the laser on me. It was a bit painful at areas with lots of hair but generally, it was okay. My face after treatment was quite a shock to me but after a few minutes, the swelling and redness went down. And in less than 2 hours, I had no more swelling!

My treatment had a down time of approximately one day. However, the results differ from one person to another and I currently still have pigmentations all over my face. However, the pigmentations have reduced.

This is me on the Sunday heading to my brother's reception, 3 days after the treatment:
