OUT OF THE WOODS is a collection of vibrant coloured box-pleated maxi skirts which are reimagined from Parisian pastures in Autumn. Nature is an endless inspiration. For this collaborative collection, I was inspired by the breath-taking hues of nature. The golden leaves in autumn. The green grass. The red flowers.

At a glance, the collection reminds me of all the dark woods within most fairytales. I've received comments from colleagues and friends that have different interpretations from the skirts such as Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, Cinderella as she runs from the prince at midnight, Belle from Beauty and The Beast, Maleficent and so many more!

Because of this, I decided to capture the dark fantasy/fairytale look with the help of American photographer Langston Hues. I personally chose this setting, as if, we were really in an enchanted forest!

When I designed this range, I really wanted something versatile that can be worn everyday for every occasion. I chose the fabric carefully and personally, to ensure the quality and the feel of the wearer of the skirt is as I imagined it.
